Sa hiya n~g cura ay nagpacamatay sa oras na yaong hindi namalayan,
nino mang doroon cundi napaquingan ang putoc n~g isang revolver na
taglay.
Caya't n~g maquitang siya ay patay na clérigo'y lumapit sa batang
dalaga, aniya'y masdan mo't tunay natupad na _justicia n~g Dios,
totoong justicia_.
At saca iniutos, ang patay ilibing ang juez naman n~ga'y umoui n~g
tambing, at saca ang _causa'y_ tinapos naman din n~g tama sa utos n~g
matouid na bilin.
Clérigo'y umoui at bata'y iniuan sa guitna n~g isang toua, at casayahan,
dahil sa natapos pan~ganib na taglay n~g caniyang puring
inin~gat-in~gatan.

Ito ang nangyari, nabasang capatid ititiguil co na't bahalang mag-isip,
cung ang fraile'y dapat tauaguing mabait ó tauong uala na ni puso ni
dibdib.
Masdan mo rin naman, cung dapat quilanling ministro n~g Dios
fraileng sinun~galing, cung ito ay lihis bahalang touirin n~g lalong
marunong may bait na angquin.
Ang bun~ga n~g cutad na isip cong taglay bun~gang namuco n~ga sa
ualang capantay, na pagmamasaquit sa bayang linac-han bayang
mapagtiis tanang cahirapan.
At sa catunayan nitong hinanaquit di aco titiguil amomang masapit,
hindi magsasauang manin~gil na tiquis sa m~ga umapi sa bayan cong
ibig.
Fraile, at _castila, maputi't maitim_ hangang mangyayari'y aquing
sisisihin, at hindi tutugot anomang marating ang puri ni _Ina'y_ aquing
hahabulin.
Fraileng ualang puso, ni habag munti man fraileng camag-anac n~g
lilong si Satan, fraileng mananagot sa isang hucuman n~g tunay na
Dios; _Justiciang marangal.
Caya n~ga't di sucat, itong sinasabi sa tula cong ito, na unang bahagui:
¡Nasaan ang Dios! carugtong na huli nitong sinulat co na samà n~g
fraile.
At cung sacali n~ga'y susulat na muli tungcol din sa fraileng pilipit na
budhi, hindi rin titiguil, cahi ma't mamuhi, sa aquin ang _papa,
cardenal_ at hari.
At icao nabasang capatid na irog guilio cong camuc-ha't casanib na
loob, huag lamang baguhin sacali ma't capos ang tulang mahirap na sa
iyo'y handog.

Sucat na sa icao magpunó'y bahala sa balang mamasid na mali cong
cathà, at tuloy gamitan n~g _isang salitang lumabac sa sulat, umayon sa
nasa_.
