(Tatabanan sa isang bisig si Esperanza). ?Naito!... ?Naito ang ninasa kong tubusin: (Boong puso). ?Kahapon, siya'y makasalanan, at n~gayon ay tunay n~g malinis. ?Siya ang aking Esperanza; ang pag-asa kong naging katunayan!... ?Dapat matanto n~g lahat na hindi ang bawa't nalublob sa burak n~g kasamaan, ay hindi na bubuti! ?Naito si Esperanza na siyang tunay na saksi!... Larawang tunay n~g m~ga nagbabagong buhay!...
