Description:
Ver v1.48, for java
War Diary?: Torpedo puts you at the helm of your own World War Two submarine. The game offers a unique combination of action, simulation and naval tactics. As a British submarine skipper you must sink ships, infiltrate minefields, spy on hostile ports and extract commandoes from jungle shores. Success is rewarded with medals, promotions and assignments to more powerful submarines. Submarine is no match for a warship in an open battle, so your keys to victory are skill, cunning and stealth.
::::: MISSION :::::You are a British submarine skipper in East Asia during WW2. Sink Japanese ships and complete missions for the Admiralty. Select New Game and choose Patrol to go out to sea. You can return to base by going to west edge of the map.Free Hunt is all about sinking ships for medals and honing your skills for the career. Career Missions give promotions and new boats and take the game story forward. After completing the mission, you'll have the option to return to base.Yellow marker on the compass points to the mission objective. White marker points to radio tasks. Enemy ships have red symbols. If you run out of torpedoes, check the map for the closest supply ship. ::::: TIPS :::::? For easy kills, there are ships at anchor in all three harbours. They are sitting ducks if you can avoid the harbour guards.? Normally enemies avoid minefields but they will risk it if they think they can get you. Throw off pursuit by luring your enemies into hitting mines.? When a warship begins its depth bombing run, it is moving in straight line and can't hear anything. That is your window for putting more distance between yourself and the enemy.? You don't have to be within sight of the target to hit it with a torpedo. It just gets harder.? Damaged ships are slow. If a convoy is heavily protected, hit some ships and retreat. Then pick off the wounded as they fall behind the pack.
