When you enter a passage leading to the right or to the left beyond the edge of the screen, pack-man will go out from the opposite side (ghosts may do the same things, but before entering the passage they slow down, whereas Pac-man retains speed). The level may also possess various bonuses, such as fruits, keys, pills, eating which the player receives an additional bonus.
