The White Lion Club immediately printed and posted up a large
placard, containing the names, trades, and places of abode, of all those
persons who voted for me. This was done to injure them in their
business, by pointing them out to the malice and the vengeance of my
opponents. But I will now publish a list for a very different purpose, to
