Form by post should reach Council’s office on or b e fore Monday, January 17, 2011. Application Forms, d uly
filled-in, may be sent by post to the Council’s off ice at above address so as to reach by Friday, Febr uary 04,
2011. Council will not be responsible for any posta l delay.

Forms may also be purchased after the due date of January 31, 2011, on payment of Rs.400/- (Rs. 300/-
towards cost of form plus Rs. 100/- as late fee) fr om the office of the Council at “Kolkata Karigori B havan”, 2

Floor, 110 S.N.Banerjee Road, Kolkata – 700 013, on all working days from 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. between
Tuesday, February 01, 2011 and Wednesday, February 09, 2011 and may be submitted at the Council’s Office
at “Kolkata Karigori Bhavan”, 110, S.N.Banerjee Roa d, Kolkata-700013 on all working days between 10.30
a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on or before Wednesday, February 09, 2011.

Admission of prospective applicants to Polytechnics is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria by them. The
result of this competitive examination (JEXPO-2011) based on multiple choice objective questions (MCQ) will
not be intimated individually to the merit listed c andidates. The Council shall publish the merit list on the
basis of results of JEXPO-2011, which will be avail able in the website
www.webscte.org tentatively during
the last week of May, 2011. No Rank Card will be is sued by the Council to the merit listed candidates. They are
required to follow the Council’s website
www.webscte.org for obtaining information regarding online
counselling programme. The printed results of the c andidates up to a specified rank shall be placed with the
polytechnics listed herein. No request for post pub lication scrutiny, inspection and review shall be
entertained. Mere submission of application for app earing in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO-201 1)
and/or securing a rank in the merit list does not e ntitle a prospective candidate for admission to any
Polytechnic.
