Description:
Ver Build 1.0.0 auto adaption, for j2me
SPMark Java06 allows users to measure and compare Java app performance across development boards and existing devices. The benchmark produces unbiased, consistent and fair tests that generate accurate measurement data for the mobile device industry, mobile reviewers and consumers.
Availability and Pricing
Consumers have two SPMarkJava06 versions to choose from. The Basic Edition is available at no cost to allow testing of the user’s personal devices. The Advanced Edition, available for $3.00 per license, offers more features and a playable game.
The Professional Edition is the most comprehensive and provides industry companies with rights to publish results. Binary versions of the Professional Edition are priced at $20,000 USD for the first license, $5000 for each additional license. Operators will be provided a 12 month free trial Professional Edition license. Optional source-code licensing for members of Futuremark’s Benchmark Developer Program (BDP) supports technology developers and device manufacturers.
The SPMarkJava06 benchmark is available immediately via source-code licensing to Futuremark’s BDP members and interested third parties.
You can check the possible compatibility issues on running SPMarkJava06 with SPMarkJavaCheck. This utility has been made very small and easy to use so that the user can check the possible issues before downloading SPMarkJava06.
Note that this utility can not verify the available memory on your device, so the result will not tell the definite answer whether SPMarkJava06 will run on your device. Options checked are MIDP version, CLDC version and the JSR-184 capability. As an output you will see if SPMarkJava06 will not work on your device. If you have any doubts whether SPMarkJava06 will work on your device, we suggest you to first try the Basic Edition before purchasing.
SPMarkJava JSR 184 – the Java benchmark for Mobile Devices
SPMarkJava JSR 184, released in November 2005 as SPMarkJava06, is the most comprehensive benchmark for measuring Java performance on mobile devices providing well designed, valid workloads with unbiased, reliable results comparison across different architectures and environments. Tests are based on popular end user application workloads including 2D and 3D gaming, video playback and image processing, in addition to measuring JVM operations and battery life. SPMarkJava06 will run on a wide variety of devices which support MIDP 2.0 and JSR 184. Source code licensing option allows customizing and compiling benchmarks to suit semiconductor manufacturers, hardware and handset manufacturers, application developers and operator requirements Quote
"SPMarkJava06 is a welcome addition to the Futuremark family of benchmarks. It has something to offer everyone, from the curious end user who wants to know how well their device performs to silicon and device manufacturers looking to measure the performance of their products."
